All the EXPLORE project partners (the Austrian Space Forum–OeWF, Núcleo Interativo de Astronomia e Inovação em Educação–NUCLIO, Ellinogermaniki Agogi-EA, the Committee on Space Research–COSPAR, and Lake Alqueva Observatory–OLA) met up for the second in-person meeting from 20 to 22 May in the beautiful region of Alqueva, Alentejo, Portugal.

During the meeting, we clarified details for the summer school, made additions to the toolkits and checked through the Teacher’s Manual.

NUCLIO were our hosts at the Lake Alqueva Observatory, and they made sure that the discussions ran smoothly and that we felt at home. We got a lot done, and are happy to announce that we are on track. And, as always after successful reunions, we came away with even more ideas to improve the project!
