One year on and a new group of students are getting ready for the experience of a life-time: EXPLORE 2!
The second mission of EXPLORE is mid-April, and on 14-15 March high school students from Austria, Greece and Portugal gave up a sunny weekend to follow intensive training from Österreichisches Weltraum Forum / Austrian Space Forum.
Intensive training is hard, you need to learn (quickly) how to communicate clearly with people you don’t know, and to pay close attention to a lot of topics that will be essential when you get to the habitat. And when it’s online it’s even more demanding! But we are impressed: all our student candidates showed the determination and focus that analog astronauts need. We can’t wait to see them in action!
